Each site contains options for how you will handle on hand inventory counts at any site in this division. These option settings are site-wide and are enforced separately by site. Click the Options tab to bring this portion of the form to the front. Site options are set from this tab.
(Sub locations typically identify a part of the location where inventory is stored or held. In IntelliTrack, a sub location is typically a specific location storage unit.); see "Adding a Sublocation" for more information about a sub location):
- when marked, this site allows sub locations to be added to a location.
- when unmarked, this site does not allow sub locations to be added to a location.
- when marked, this site allows items to be tracked by minimum quantity, maximum quantity, and reorder quantity. This is accomplished at the Add Item or Edit Item form in the Reorder Points tab; see "Reorder Points" for more information.
- when unmarked, this site does not allow items to be tracked by minimum quantity, maximum quantity, and reorder quantity. The Add Item or Edit Item will not contain a Reorder Points tab if this option is not marked.
- when marked, the inventory at this site is allowed to be at a negative quantity (less than 1).
- when unmarked, the inventory at this site is not allowed to go below 1.
(Immediately updates on hand inventory quantity with the portable application inventory count):
- when marked, the on hand inventory count is immediately updated with the portable count.
- when unmarked, the inventory count must be manually updated with the portable count. (The portable count is entered into inventory as the Inventoried quantity at the Inventory Data page; see "Working with the Inventory Count".)
(This option allows you to choose to delete inventory records that contain zero quantity.):
- When marked, an inventory record that contains zero quantity as a result of a transaction (such as inventory adjustment, move, or issue) will be deleted from the system and it will not be displayed at the Inventory Data page.
- When unmarked, an inventory record that contains zero quantity as a result of a transaction (such as inventory adjustment, move, or issue) will not be deleted from the system and will be displayed at the Inventory Data page with an each count of 0.
